Toni Thompson, Chief People Officer and Executive Coach

Toni Thompson is an experienced Chief People Officer and Executive Coach, specializing in guiding teams through complexity and cultivating intentional cultures that move with fluidity and less bureaucracy. She is driven by a passion for using technology to enable skills-based workflows that empower teams to achieve significant results while making work more fulfilling and flexible.

Parallel to her career leading global HR functions as a CHRO, she maintains a boutique leadership practice providing consultative coaching for working mothers in senior leadership roles — empowering the next generation of executives to excel in high-stakes leadership positions while leading their families at home.

Toni transitioned from an early career in brand strategy at Campbell Mithun and market research at Millward Brown into a career in HR for a wide range of companies including Condé Nast, McCann Erickson NY, The Muse, and most recently as CHRO for Etsy — a global technology company and marketplace with a mission to keep commerce human. Drawing on twenty years of experience in People Operations, including nine years in executive leadership roles, she has reached the pinnacle of her field as a top-level people executive familiar with the responsibility of enabling team and company success.
